When choosing your Columbus, Ohio Maternity, Newborn & Baby Photographer, it is so important to know that you're getting more than a photo session. I aim to give my clients a photo EXPERIENCE - one that they will look back on fondly with a smile on their faces. I believe that the memories made during each portrait session should be just as near & dear to our hearts as the photos themselves. My goal is to truly connect on a personal level with every person on the other end of my lens...no matter how small!

FAQs

Where will we shoot our on-location portraits?

We are so blessed to have so many amazing locations for portraits right here in central Ohio. Some of my go-to locations include: Old Worthington, Uptown Westerville, McNamara Park & Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville and Creekside in Gahanna. It's important to note, however, that great photos can happen anywhere, especially places like an open field where the focus is all on you!

When will we get our images?

You will receive an email within 2-3 weeks of your portrait session telling you that it's time for your in-studio BIG REVEAL appointment. This is when we will view a beautiful digital presentation of your session, choose your favorites and order any print products that you'd like beautifully displayed in your home.

How many images will we receive?

This is based on the type of session you book and/or the package you've selected, however, most of my clients choose to receive their full gallery of digital images by making a qualifying print purchase.

What should we wear?

Portraits are the perfect time to go all out and dress to impress! Our phones, social media accounts and even homes are often full of photos of our every day looks. Portrait day is the perfect excuse to put on your 'Sunday Best' and really wow your friends and family with you looking your absolute best! I'm always happy to help my Clients coordinate the best look possible for beautiful, timeless portraits.

Do you offer a digital only newborn package?

The short answer is yes. Our Petite Newborn Session is digital-only, however, I encourage you to consider adding a print package and here's why: I believe SO strongly in the power of the printed image especially when it comes to milestone photography ie. special events like weddings, childbirth and newborns. In this digital age, so often our photos sit on our phones, in our social media accounts and 'in the cloud' never to see the light of day, and to be honest, it breaks my heart! I firmly believe that your Little One's Newborn portraits deserve to be shared, touched and displayed in your home. As technology constantly changes, so will digital imaging. How we digitally store images today may be obsolete 20 years from now (Remember those old home movies on VHS? Aagh!). So where will that leave your child's images? This is all the more reason to have those precious albums, matted prints and canvases in print form to be handed down and treasured from generation to generation. I care THAT much about your images and my work!
