FAQ
01. WHAT DO I NEED FOR MY NEWBORN SESSION?
In short: Your baby. All Newborn sessions come complete with all of the props, wraps, hats, headbands, swaddles etc. that your little one will need. You simply provide the color scheme you're interested and you'll walk into the studio with the set already designed and awaiting your approval. Heck, I even provide breakfast the morning of your session! One less thing to worry about before you head to the studio. ☺
02. WHERE WILL WE SHOOT OUR ON-LOCATION PORTRAITS?
We are so blessed to have so many amazing locations for portraits right here in central Ohio. I'm always open to client suggestions, but some of my go-to locations include: Old Worthington, Uptown Westerville, McNamara Park, Founders Park and Inniswood Metro Gardens in Westerville, Rose Run and Taylor Farm Park in New Albany and Creekside in Gahanna. It's important to note, however, that great photos can happen anywhere, especially places like an open field, where the focus is all on YOU!
03. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
I offer a unique, in-person image selection process for my clients called the BIG REVEAL. Typically, you will receive an email 2-4 weeks after your portrait session telling you it's time to schedule your BIG REVEAL. This is when I'll welcome you into my studio and we will view a beautiful, custom, digital presentation of your session images, choose your favorites and order any print products that you'd like beautifully displayed in your home. I love providing this personal, in-studio experience for my clients because it's more than sending a link and having them select images online. No way! We've just celebrated & captured something special - the birth of a child, a first pregnancy, your graduating Senior or Little One's birthday- these are major life events, and I treat them as such, with the care and personal touch they deserve!
04. HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
This is based on the type of session you book and/or the package you've selected, however, most of my clients choose to receive their entire gallery of digital images by making a qualifying digital or print package purchase. Most sessions include 10 digital image files with the option to upgrade.
05. WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
For Newborn to Baby's 1st Birthday clients, I've got you covered with a complete Client Wardrobe of options! For other session types, portraits are the perfect time to go all out and dress to impress! Our phones, social media accounts are full of photos in our everyday looks. Photoshoot Day is the perfect excuse to put on your Sunday Best and really wow your friends and family with you looking incredible! I always tell clients make sure you still look like you...just kick it up a notch! Generally speaking, neutrals and layers ALWAYS photograph well and it's a good idea to stick to classic pieces that will stand the test of time and not age a photo immediately. I'm always happy to help my clients coordinate the best look possible for beautiful, timeless photos.
